Directed the schedule oversight and project controls for a multifaceted modernization of a pollution control plant and a $15.2 million facility expansion. The expansion scope called for the design-build construction of a new 4-MGD equalization tank and a 9.4-MGD equalization pump station, critical for preventing the 67-MGD nutrient removal treatment process from overloading during peak flows. Additional work included the demolition of sludge thickening and generator facilities, the construction of a new generator plant, electrical distribution upgrades, and the installation of a plant-wide fiber optic communications network.
Technical responsibilities focused on the rigorous review of monthly schedule updates, with a specialized focus on analyzing the critical path, network logic, and identifying out-of-sequence work to maintain project momentum. Expertise was applied to the execution of Time Impact Analyses (TIA) to evaluate scope changes and their effect on project milestones. This oversight included the development of comprehensive narrative reports for executive management, detailing schedule status, identifying potential risks, and proposing mitigation strategies to ensure the project remained aligned with contractual timelines and operational objectives.
