The project consisted of the renovation of 4-5 buildings within the College of Engineering (35,000 - 40,000 square feet). The purpose of these renovations was to create more lab space, reduce energy consumption, upgrade space to the latest code, and allow for more technologically advanced lab space. The project involved removal/demolition, renovation, upgrades, commissioning, startup and warranty of the building’s heating, ventilating & air conditioning systems for the engineering department. In addition to the HVAC renovation and upgrade, associated electrical, structural, and roofing work was required.
Assisted with administrative procedures and maintaining records for the project. Reviewed design progress submittals, contractor qualifications, coordination, interpretation of contract plans, specifications, and construction plans.
